Town were still without Chris Weller,Luke Regetti and Tom Winsor, so a reshuffle at the back was needed. For the first fifteen minutes it was one way traffic with Sandhurst having much of the ball and play.Towns only chance came in the seventh minute when Ben Herdman put Kevin Lock through and he fired the ball into the net but the assistant referee gave it as offside. Although he and the referee had failed to spot the cones and poles left on the pitch fo fifteen minutes of the game from where Sandhurst had been trainning! With sixten played Ian Chtfield did well getting down at the far post. With twenty five played John Eldred went of injured and was replaced with Dareen Tidy in midfield. With twenty six played Ian Chatfield pulled of a good save on the line to keep Town in the game. With twenty eight played Kevin Lock broke into the box and shot but it went just over he cross.Three minutes later a poor clearance by the home keeper and Kyle broke into the box beat the keeper but he shot was somehow cleared on the line but a defeder knee. With forty played Kyle broke into the box and the home keeper just managed to parry away and Ben Herdman followed up by firing just over the cross bar. With four left first a shot from Kyle Hough was partly cleared and then Jack Poplett followed up but fire just over the cross bar.In the last minute of the half Kyle beat his marker and shot well but the keeper again just manged to tip the ball round the post.Sandhurst then picked up their first booking. The teams went in at half time with the score still nil nil. With two minutes played keeper Ian Chtafield came out well saved the ball with both hands and then the Sandhust forward knocked it out of his hands and scored , the referee said it was a Town player who knocked it out of Chatfields hands despite it being the Sandhurst player! Colin Harvey then got booked for arguing with the referee. With fourteen played Colin Harvey was replaced by Nathan Jupp. With fifteen played Kevin Lock crossed well for Kyle Hough whose shot again was well saved by the home keeper. With eighteen played Lock again crossed and this time Nathan Jupp shot went just wide of the upright. With twenty one left Kevin Lock was pulled down in the box's and with Town about to take then penalty the referee awarded a free kick just outside of the box dispite the foul being well inside the box. With twenty left Jack Poplett was replaced by Mark Gilbert. With sixteen left Town pilled on the pressure and with three consecutive corner which saw the second cleared on the line Town still could not find a way forward. With fourteen left first Kyle got pulled down in the box closely followed by Ben Herdman but the referee again waved play on despite the slightest knock on a Sandhurst player when he would give a free kick. With eleven left Ben Herdman scored coming from behind two players but again the assistant gave it as off side. With six left and Town pushing forward Sandhurst scored goal number two.In the last minute of the game Nathan Jupp got elbowed in the face and the referee finally gave a penalty. Kyle Hough stepped up and fired the ball home (See the goal on Horey's U Tube sight) to make it two one.A minute in injury time Kyle Hough had a shot flicked of the line at the last moment. With two minutes on the clock Anthony Jupp crossed to Nathan who came from behind his marker and fired the ball home but again the assistant gave it as offside which it was not as we were in line and he came from behind his marker.Kevin Lock then got taken out and when he complained he got booked. This result saw Town drop down to fourth and we must learn to beat the lower side and take out chances.
