Raynes Park Vale 2 Horley Town 5

    Town were without the injured Chris Weller, Darren Tidy returned from injury and the fit again Liam Cox and Adam Pullen were on the bench. Town looked much more balanced than Saturday and went well from the start on the very difficult pitch to play football on.In the opening minute Darren Tidy was unlucky when he went in with the Ex Horley Town Dean Culprit goalkeeper who dropped the ball and then grabbed it at the second attempt.With three played the impressive Kylie Hough broke through the centre and his shot took a deflection of a home defender and went out for a corner.With seven played Gary Thomlinson won a corner taken by Luke Ragetti and the keeper just managed to punch the ball clear from the head of Tom Windsor.With Raynes park's first attack after twelve minutes they broke into the box and scored against the run of play.With seventeen played Luke Ragetti won a corner which he took, he swung the ball into the area and the ball was cleared on the line.A minute later and Gary Thomlinson had a long range effort go just over the cross bar.With six left  Raynes Park attacked the ball and the forward hit a powerful shot which hit  Ryan Elsey on the arm with him having no chance to get out of the way of it the Assistant referee waved for hand ball despite him not moving his arms. Park took the penalty but this time Ian Chatfield rose to the occasion guessing which way he was going and pulling of a fantastic save to keep Town in the game.With two left some great work by Kylie Hough saw him set up Gary Thomlinson who ran through and beat the keeper to make it one one. With a minute left on the clock top goal scorer Kylie Hough ran through and scored to make it two one to Horley with the Hooter going off the mass of birds hit the air as if to celebrate the Town goal.In the last minute Ben Herdman got flattened and their player got a yellow card.It was still two one to Town at half time.At half time town were forced into a sub with Darren tidy going of injured and Jack Poplett coming on.With two minutes played Gary Thomlinson broke into the box beat Dean Culpit and saw his shot hit the cross bar and bounce to safety.With four played a great cross from the right saw Kylie get up well and beat Culpit but his header went just wide of the upright.Next a goal mouth scramble saw Culpit manage to save the ball right on the line.
    With fourteen played Raynes Park got a free kick when Ryan Elsey went in the referee book for a foul.With twenty minutes played Harry Williams picked the ball up on the edge of the area and fired the ball home to make it three one on the night.With twenty four played keeper Ian Chatfield pulled of a great save diving to his right. With eighteen left John Eldred was replaced with Adam Pullen.
    With sixteen left Gary Thomlinson had a long range shot go just over the cros bar.With fifteen minutes left a free kick from Luke Ragetti saw Jack poplett rise high and head home Town fourth goal of the night.With twelve left Ben Heardman was replaced with Liam Cox. With ten left Iain Chatfield got to well to a powerful shot and then Adam Pullen cleared from the box.
    Next up Adam Pullen had a great shot which was just cleared on the line by a defender after it had beaten the keeper.In the last minute of the game Kylie Hough broke into the box and shot into the goal to make it five one much to th delight of the travelling fans.A minute into injury time and froma  corner Raynes Park scored to make the final score five two to Town with some great performance all around the park and three good points away from home.
