Colliers Wood United 1 Horley Town 6

    After the well earned point against Banstead on Saturday the manger made a couple of changes with Kyle Hough comig back in up front in place of Gary Thomlinson and Ben Herdman in place of Luke Ragetti. Fom the off Town were up for a good game with controlled passing football. In the opening minute the home keeper hit the ball straight to Jack Poplett whose shot was saved at the second attempt.With nine played Colliers Wood had a good attack which keeper Ian Chatfield did well to save at the near post.With ten played a cross from Chris Weller was put in the net by Ben Herdman but the referee ruled it out for offside.With twenty played Adam Pullen crossed to Jack Poplett whose header went just wide of the upright with the home keeper well beat.With twenty nine played Kyle Hough broke into the box saw the home keeper of his line and fired the ball home to make it one nil to Town. With twelve left Ian Chatfield did well again coming out and saving with his legs.With three left Nathan Jupp got pushed over on the edge of the box and the referee awarded a free kick which Jack Poplett fired into the back of the net (See the goal on Horley's U Tube site) to make the score two nil to Town. Right on the stroke of half time Kyle Hough again broke through saw the keeper advancing and colly flicked the ball over him for a great gaol to send Town in at half time three nil up.As is often the way the first five minutes of the second half saw Colliers Wood through everything at Town and Town were slow out of the blocks for the second half. With six played Colliers Wood were awarded a free kick on the edge of the box and the fired the ball goal bound and it took a deflection of Jack Poplett and went in to make it three one.With ten played Anthony Jupp got booked for Town.With twelve played Colliers Wood had a free kick which they took quick and the ball hit the upright.The Town work up and started to play some great football a move involving Adam Pullen and Jack Poplett saw Liam Cox header go just over the cross bar.With sixteen played Adm Pullen broke into the box and shot and the keeper managed to knock it out for a corner.With eighteen played Jack Poplett had a header which went right across the goal mouth and just missed the far post.Then Nathan Jupp went into the referee book.With twenty played Nathan Jupp set up Adm Pullen who rang wide saw where the keeper was nd powered hs shot into he back of the net to make it four one.This was followed by Nathan Jupp and  being replaced by Harry Williams.With eighteen played Kyle Hough crossed the ball and Harry Williams header wet just over the cross bar. Quote of the day then followed-The keeper even asked us to take our time getting the ball back as he did not want to let any more goal in.With fifteen left o were awarded a penalty after a push in the box. Kyle steeped up and took the penalty kick to complete his hattrick (See the goal on the Horley U Tube site)
    With thirteen left Ben Heardman and Adam Pullen went off and one came Mark Gilbert and Max Davie.With nine left Jack Poplett got booked for hand ball.With six left Colliers Wood picked up a booking.With four left Mark Gilbert put the perfect ball through to Kyli who fired the ball home in some style to make it four for him on the day and six for Town.With three left Chris Weller took a free kick and Max Davie header was saved on the line by the home keeper.With a minute left Harry Williams broke free and his shot went just wide of the upright.This result gave us another three points away from home and amazing eleven goals scored in the last two away games.
